Wendy Huang, director of GuardHill’s International Mortgage Division, was invited to be a guest speaker on behalf of our firm at The Real Deal’s second annual U.S. Real Estate Showcase & Forum in Shanghai. Thousands of real estate professionals and wealthy investors attended the event from Nov. 17-19, which was held at the Jing An Shangri-La in Shanghai’s premier business district. Industry leaders from New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and other major U.S. markets had a chance to meet with and educate Chinese investors while learning from a bevy of distinguished panel speakers.

“Lots of Chinese are excited to hear about how GuardHill can provide foreign national mortgage lending. The market is still very strong and people are still looking to invest in the New York market,” Wendy said.

Additionally, Wendy gave a presentation on foreign national mortgage financing to the JLL Shanghai office, Related and Jing Hua which is one of the biggest Eb5 companies in Shanghai.

As a result of this productive trip, GuardHill has formed many new fruitful relationships and partnerships. In 2017, we plan to continue to expand upon how we share our expertise in mortgage financing with buyers and investors on a global stage.
