About Michael
Michael Cohen’s career began when he graduated college with an Economics degree and then went to work on Wall Street as a Financial Consultant in 1983, in which he previously held Series 7, 63 and 65 Licenses. While working next door to the World Trade Center during 9/11, Michael’s office was severely damaged. As a result, he considered other possible career options and in 2002, Michael entered the real estate market in 2003, he obtained a corporate broker license.
In 2009, Michael decided to get his Loan Originator License and enter the mortgage industry which complemented his strong Real Estate and Financial skills. Michael understands the real estate as well as the financial end of each transaction which enables him to help the borrower with the process and ease anxieties. He is fully involved in every loan transaction from start to finish, as well as post-closing follow-up. This is why most of Michael’s borrowers consider the business relationship as also a friendship. Michael’s business consists of residential, investment and commercial financing for both purchase and large cash-out transactions. He travels internationally at least a few times a year and enjoys skiing, weightlifting, swimming and tennis.
