Alan Rosenbaum – Founder & CEO of GuardHill Financial
As the CEO of GuardHill Financial Corp., Alan Rosenbaum ranks among the foremost mortgage specialists in the country. Headquartered in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, Alan founded GuardHill Financial in 1992, and he has since developed the company into one of the top mortgage banks in America. Alan supervises an annual operation of over one billion dollars’ worth of mortgages.
Predominantly focused on the Tri-State Area, Alan and his firm have worked with clients throughout the country. With over 100 dedicated employees, Alan is perpetually searching for new opportunities for expansion and has recently established an overseas presence by creating a prominent international mortgage division.
Alan takes pride in continuously learning and sharing knowledge about the real estate/mortgage marketplace. He has been quoted by many noteworthy publications, including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and The Real Deal, and has been interviewed and featured on Fox Business with Neil Cavuto, CNBC, and on multiple radio and podcast outlets. Alan was recently invited to speak in Shanghai, China to discuss Asia’s participation in the American real estate industry alongside other influential executives and notable leaders, including former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani. However, Alan will tell you that he is most proud of having personally trained many of GuardHill’s employees, whose success and loyalty speaks volumes.
Alan attributes his success to his upbringing in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. At the early age of 11, Alan worked beside his father in his popular camera and record store, learning the fundamentals of hard work and sacrifice. Alan took these qualities and applied them towards his degree at Louisiana State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in business administration. Alan started his career at a mortgage firm called Skyscraper Consultants, and was promoted to a partner position a mere six months later. After two years, Alan’s entrepreneurial mindset took over, and he left to start a corporation guided by three main principles: hard work, smart work, and teamwork. This corporation is now formally known as GuardHill Financial Corp.
When Alan is not working, he enjoys fishing at his vacation house in the Berkshires, spending time with his beautiful family, and listening to his extensive vinyl collection on his turn table. Alan tries to visit his hometown Louisiana area as often as possible. While there, you can find him cheering on his beloved LSU Tigers, rooting for The New Orleans Saints, or eating crawfish at a local Cajun restaurant.
Alan presently resides in Long Island, New York with his wife and three daughters, and their two Labradors.
