Christopher Minardi, Branch Manager (East Hampton)
Chris brings fourteen years of experience in mortgage originations to GuardHill Financial. He holds New York State mortgage licenses along with a current federal and state NMLS license. Chris is well-versed in originating loans, placing, packaging, and closing all financing transactions including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, Construction Financing, Reverse, Commercial, and High Net Worth Financing.
Christopher Minardi started working in the mortgage industry in 2000 at a time when the mortgage industry was very busy and Chris hit the ground running. Two years later he was a top producer and has maintained that status each and every year in the business.
“I was fortunate enough to be born and raised in East Hampton so my family ties to the community have assisted me in gaining referrals from local attorneys and realtors. People want to get a mortgage from someone they trust,” says Chris. “If that person happens to be me, then great!”
Chris is a resident of East Hampton, NY and spends his free time surfing, snowboarding, mountain biking, surfing, and collecting vintage baseball cards. He is also heavily involved in his community and gives his time generously. Chris has been an active Class A member with the East Hampton Volunteer Fire Department for ten years. In 2011, he was named Company Member of the Year and appointed to Company Lieutenant, then to Company Captain in 2012. He served on the East Hampton Village Planning Board Committee from 2008– 2011 and currently serves as an alternate on the East Hampton Village Zoning Board of Appeals.
Chris is a graduate of The University of Massachusetts Amherst Isenberg School of Business Management. Prior to joining GuardHill, Chris was the Managing Director and East Hampton Branch Manager for Guaranteed Rate Mortgage, which was acquired by The Manhattan Mortgage Co. Inc. Chris handled his accounts with a focus on responsibility, honestly and trust.
Chris has received awards time and again for “top mortgage originations” and “top mortgage producer.” To his credit he is proud to say that each year he writes more business than the previous year, which he credits to his complete understanding of the industry, client’s needs, referral contacts, and relentless need for perfection.
